Alyssa Day

Alyssa Day has been shaping her voice on the guitar since the age of seven. After studying music performance at Rollins University, she cut her teeth in the technical death metal world as a member of Mindscar (2016–2020), honing the precision and intensity that define her playing to this day.

A songwriter and performer at her core, Alyssa has been writing and performing instrumental progressive music since 2013, a thread that has run through every chapter of her career. Alongside a series of solo instrumental releases, she’s built a sound that’s equal parts technical and cinematic.

Off the stage, Alyssa has built a dedicated following across YouTube and Instagram. She has collaborated with major brands including Jackson, Seymour Duncan, Fender, and more.

In 2023, Alyssa joined The Iron Maidens and has since toured extensively. Alyssa has brought her technical chops and stage presence to audiences worldwide.

In 2024, she formed Absentia with Cameron Carbone, a duo that serves as an extension of her solo instrumental project and the next evolution of the sound she’s been building for over a decade.

Now in 2026, Alyssa takes her skills to new dimensions as a core member of Blue Medusa, certainly bringing forth the full range of her skills as a guitarist, songwriter, performer, and creator.
